Finished up this card. I'd had her inked for a while, but I had my watercolors out for another project and just decided to go all in and finish her.
Still slowly working on this tarot deck in my spare time.
Behold! The Empress.

Doe Painting Progress
Sort of working on this... I think I need to put some treasure in the
dirt pile, or show different layers of dirt. Bones? Shiny rocks? What
shall I put in...

Site Updates and Show Submissions
Just finished putting up a few new pieces and a project section, for those of you interested in my limited edition card decks that I have in progress. Check out my site, www.meganmerz.com, for more!
I finished my submissions for the Linus Gallery's "Haunting" show, the Deer Spirit Board and a matching Planchette. I am considering getting a tester made of the board to see if it's worth producing and selling.

The Empress
A pretty doe for the Empress card. All of these are gel pen on Strathmore's toned journal paper.
I'm really hoping I can finish all 22 cards AND my spirit board (not a big deal there, just need to do the planchet), continue to work on art cards, and keep up with commissions.
I CAN DO IT ALL.

Ah, Spring. The time of year where the deer let me take a million reference photos of them in exchange for the promise of veggie scraps. So, here's the fruit of that labor, this pretty gal. I may redo this as a larger piece.
