Children's Book Kickstarter!

Hello, friends!  I am running a Kickstarter to fund the printing of my children's book, Just One More.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/601723900/just-one-more-lemur-themed-childrens-book?ref=video

The book features Lili the lemur and her quest to gather every kiwi in her rainforest home.  It's lovingly illustrated in the style above, and is one of my favorite things I've made!

Antelope

Not quite sure what this fellow is.  He was a taxidermy mount at a museum.
Not sure what to do with this guy, he may end up on a notebook of some kind.

Also, if you do enjoy tumblr, feel free to follow me there!  Hootbark.tumblr.com

"I Will Keep Your Secrets" Notebook

Belted Kingfisher.

What do you prefer?   The scanned notebook version, or the cleaned-up-for-print version?  I think I may do a tutorial for notebook cleanup, since a lot of people doodle or seriously draw on these and would probably like a nice record of them!
This is for a CF benefit in September.  The notebook and some of my paintings will be auctioned off.

Tumblr Antlers

I'm having an art identity crisis.  I'm never sure what to actually brand myself as.   Anyway, here are some antlers.   Did you know I have a tumblr?   It's hootbark.tumblr.com, should you be inclined.

This is an in progress piece, about 2/3 of the way done.   I think it will look nice with 5-6 more antlers to the right.

Kaiju As Far As You Can Throw A Building!

SO!

I made this super awesome shirt for my company Reagency Design:

If you'd like one, they are here:

And Kerberos Productions took notice and asked me to make them one in the same style, but with their monsters and their city!  And thus, I did.  They have a Kickstarter for their game, Kaiju-A-GoGo, which you should also check out.

What can I say, I'm happy to have a job where I get to draw little monsters more often than most.

Eventually, this will be fabric!  Just messing around with the sketches, but may ink and color these. Not sure yet.

The Empress

A pretty doe for the Empress card.  All of these are gel pen on Strathmore's toned journal paper.

I'm really hoping I can finish all 22 cards AND my spirit board (not a big deal there, just need to do the planchet), continue to work on art cards, and keep up with commissions.

I CAN DO IT ALL.

Little Dogs

Something for the View Gallery's "Little Things" art party.

They're 2.5x3.5", and they're to be donated to the gallery in hopes that it's a way to get my name out there, and all the proceeds go towards future exhibits at the museum/gallery.

More Cards!

Trucking along at a nice pace in the past week, here are some more kitty cards that have been completed.  On a trip to the Utrecht store, I found a really great watercolor paper, an 8x8" pad of 100% cotton paper. Less crisp lines, but better colors and spreading.

Golden Cat and Pallas's Cat respectively.
